Traversing Indonesia

Enjoy 12 days and 13 nights surfing from the Indies Trader IV across Indonesia. We believe that this timeframe is ideal for ensuring an average of two quality swells during the trip, with overlapping swells common. Longer-than-average trips enable us to venture into more remote and exotic locales.
Dates are available starting late August through September in both 2009 and 2010.

Rates based on 13 voyage days and 12 nights accommodation. Rates are in U.S. dollars, based on space and availability.  In cases where the trips are longer or shorter due to logistics and specific itineraries, pricing will adjust accordingly.

Minimum charter is eight days with negotiable rates for longer trips.  Pricing inclusive of up to 22 guests.

Optional Extras:
Our Go-with-a-Pro option teams you up with a professional surfer for private coaching; your surfing will improve considerably while you get a glimpse into the training, mindset and lifestyle of a pro surfer.

Our Wellness Programs ensure that you unwind and get the most out of your time on the water. Yoga, Massage, Nutrition, and Detox initiatives are available to those looking for a healthy escape.
    - Add $700 per day for on-call yoga instructor or massage professional
    - Pricing for Nutrition and Detox programs is customized

The EpicQuest Photography Program will capture the best moments of your trip, both in and out of the water.
    - Add $800 per day for professional photographer & access to all digital images

Heli-Surfing is a new offering for our trips.  EpicQuest management has decades of helicopter operations experience; allow us to equip the yacht with a helicopter to take your adventure even further.
    - Add $3500 per flight hour; Minimum 6 flight hours per trip.  This cost includes aircraft, pilot, mechanic, fuel, and insurance.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES

Tenders and Jet Skis

The three tenders and two jet skis that travel with the Indies Trader IV are always available for your use. These craft are quickly launched and used to ferry to and from the day’s adventures. Of course, it’s just a short ride to the secluded beach of your choice if you're feeling the need for relaxation.
Diving

The yacht is one of the best equipped sport diving vessels in the world. Our scuba bottle fill stations with multiple whips and dual Bauer compressors will maximize your dive time. We even cater for Nitrox diving. You can dive directly from the yacht’s swim platform or use the tenders to access dive locations. Water clarity varies considerably in the Mentawais.
Fishing

The waters we cruise are rich with the largest array of reef and game fish imaginable. We catch tuna, mahi mahi, and Spanish Mackerel regularly, ensuring fresh meals and tons of fun.
