Zermatt

Zermatt represents everything the alps are known for: rich alpine history, world-class hotels, incredible off-piste skiing, and the most famous mountain on the planet. And the Intro Zermatt ski adventure will deliver on all of those fronts. Ski-touring from the enormous lift system, and several well-chosen heli drops will provide the most diverse off-piste skiing opportunities in the Swiss Alps. From glacial routes in the high alpine to steep tree runs to the valley floor, it's not uncommon to cover up to 8000' of vertical from top to bottom. The newly- renovated Post Hotel is a hip and comfortable boutique hotel right in the center of the action, and its multiple bars, restaurants and nightclubs are perfect for celebrating at the end of an epic day.

We'll drop into Italy for a day of skiing in the Monterosa area, before a night at the Guglielmina Hotel atop the Col d'Olen above Alagna for the true old-world experience. Come experience the best of the Alps in Zermatt.

Day 1 (Saturday):
Arrive GVA (or Zurich), pick up in private van, transfer to Zermatt Hotel. Possibly ski half-day, dinner.

Day 2 (Sunday):
Ski Zermatt, lift-accessed backcountry on Gornergrat / Stockhorn, onslope lunch. Dinner in Hotel or restaurant.

Day 3 (Monday):
Ski Zermatt, lift-accessed ski touring off Kleine Matterhorn. Lunch on- mountain. Dinner in hotel or restaurant.

Day 4 (Tuesday):
Ski Zermatt / Cervinia, heli drop(s) if possible. Lunch and dinner as desired.

Day 5 (Wednesday):
Ski Zermatt / Cervinia, descent to Gressoney / Monterosa Italy. Lift up to Hotel Guglielmina, Col d'Olen. Dinner at hotel.

Day 6 (Thursday):
Ski Monterosa, heli drop if possible from Monte Rosa back to Zermatt.
Dinner as desired.

Day 7 (Friday):
Ski Zermatt / Cervinia, lift-accessed skitouring. Hosted dinner at restaurant, reservations at Zermatt nightclub.

Day 8 (Saturday):
Ski Zermatt,Lift-accessed skitouring. Pack up and private van to Lavaux Hotel (for GVA departure). Private wine tasting, dinner at vineyard.

Day 9 (Sunday):
Private Van transfer, return flights from GVA-USA=
