ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi in the evening and overnight at a comfortable guesthouse on the outskirts of the city for the night.

Day 2: After an early breakfast we’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport to board our private charter flight to Borana Ranch which will be our base for the next six nights. On arrival at Borana we’ll be transferred to our lodgings and have time to settle into our rooms before having lunch. After lunch we’ll have time for a short siesta before venturing out on our first ride.

Day 3: Morning ride to the western side of the ranch with a bush breakfast at the base of Gaitumo hill. Afternoon ride past down the windmill valley with sundowners atop airstrip hill.

Day 4: Ride towards the northwest side of the ranch with a bush breakfast at the police dam. Ride to the top of Samangua with sundowners atop Samangua.

Day 5: Morning ride to Laragai with breakfast at Laragai House. Afternoon ride down to fly camp on the Ngare Ndare River. Fly camp that night.

Day 6: Morning ride onto Lewa Wildlife Conservancy with bush breakfast on Lewa. Return to fly camp for lunch then afternoon ride from fly camp back to the stables.

Day 7: Morning ride on the ranch, afternoon chill out, game drive or guided walk.

Day 8: Morning to take it easy or do another ride then lunch and a late afternoon departure from Borana to Nairobi. Dinner at a restaurant in Nairobi prior to flying home that evening.
