Uganda

Owing to the extreme location of each of the lakes around Mount Kenya, they are seldom fished. Access to the lakes is strictly by helicopter, making the locations unattainable to most and the rainbow trout as wild as they get.

Having spent a few days fishing each of the lakes soon find yourself at Murchison Falls in western Uganda, battling the fury of a monster Nile perch, on a remote stretch of one of Africa’s wildest rivers.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be passed through a private immigration and customs service.  Your guide will meet you and take you directly to your private charter to Borana Lodge.

Day 2: After an early breakfast, a helicopter will pick you up and take you to Mount Kenya for the first day’s fishing on the Mountain, concentrating on Lake Alice. 

Day 3: Full day fishing Lake Alice, Lake Ellis and Lake Michaelson.

Day 4: Full day fishing Lake Alice, Lake Ellis and Lake Michaelson.

Day 5: Private charter to Nairobi, for Kenya Airways flight to Entebbe where you will connect with a private charter flight to Murchison Falls for the first afternoon on the river.

Day 6: Full day fishing on the Nile

Day 7: Full day fishing on the Nile

Day 8: Full day fishing on the Nile

Day 9:  Full day fishingon the Nile
 
Day 10: Half day fishing then private charter to Entebbe for flight to Nairobi for the flight home
