The Grand Canyon is of course one of the world’s most dazzling natural wonders.  Epic’s Grand Canyon Tour offers possibly the finest way to experience this must see geologic wonder, on a bicycle.

Epic’s tour route on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon follows the Arizona Trail and Rainbow Rim Trail to reveal stunning overlooks into the Canyon not accessible to cars.  

The riding is suitable for cyclists new to singletrack trail riding.  The trails flow through aspen and pine forests on a gentle grade that rarely exceeds 9%, so everybody leaves feeling like a hero.

Each evening is filled laughter, wine, and a gourmet backcountry feast while a fiery sunset paints the canyon below.  Epic Grand Canyon is an exclusive opportunity to fully immerse oneself in and appreciate the brilliance of one of the earth’s utmost creations.

Your EpicQuest adventure starts off in St. George, Utah. Here your EpicQuest guide will pick you up for the three-hour drive to the Kaibab National Forest, where the ride begins.

This trip takes place on the Kaibab Plateau, a Ponderosa/Aspen Forest at about 8000 feet. The trails roll up and down through the forest and pop out every now and then on the edge of the Big Ditch—with great views of the Grand Canyon.

Riding Surface: Variable; dirt roads, singletrack trails.
Technical Difficulty: Moderate; singletrack is not very technical, climbing is minimal.
Physical Difficulty: Moderate; singletrack is unsupported.
Altitude: 7,500 - 8,900 feet.

Temperatures range from the mid 40’s at night to the mid 80’s in the day during the summer.  Afternoon rains are not uncommon.  But remember, there is no such thing bad weather, only bad clothing. Please bring everything on our gear list and you will have a wonderful time no matter what.
