Idaho Hot Springs
This trip features a clear natural hot spring at every camp!  Each day of riding on this intermediate level tour ends in total relaxation and recovery while our chef prepares dinner.

The tour begins in the mountain town of Ketchum, Idaho, near Sun Valley resort and travels to the edge of the Sawtooth Wilderness Area.  The riding is done primarily on dirt roads with singletrack options.  The roads are surrounded by wildflowers and the valleys blessed with geothermal activity in the form of hot springs.

Just when you think it can't get any better, we ride into the tiny town of Atlanta, Idaho in the dramatic shadow of Mount Greylock.  There is a layover day in Atlanta, where one can walk into the Sawtooth Wilderness, ride singletrack to a mountain lake for a swim, or simply relax in one of three local hot pools.

The trip’s final day ends with a return airplane flight back across the mountains to Ketchum.

Spend the night before the trip begins in Ketchum, Idaho at the base of Sun Valley Resort where EpicQuest guides await riders the next morning. A driver picks riders up at their hotels early the next morning. Cyclists meet at Sun Summit where the day’s ride begins, while gear is transported to the first night’s camping spot.

Travel by bike through the Boise National Forest the mountains of central Idaho. Double track dirt roads carry cyclists up and over mountain passes revealing 360 degree views of the White Clouds and the Smokey Mountains. On the way down smooth, winding singletrack offers an exhilarating path to a hot spring for that evening’s rest and relaxation.

Altitude: 6,000 - 9,000 feet.

The temperatures range from the mid 40’s at night to the mid 80’s in the day.  Afternoon rains are not uncommon.  But remember, there is no such thing bad weather, only bad clothing. Please bring everything on our gear list and you will have a wonderful time no matter what.
