‘Extremely lucky’ is how Mike describes feeling living and working in Kenya’s northern frontier district. Dividing his time between leading a community development / wildlife conservation project on Kenya’s northern most coastline, flying helicopters throughout east Africa and living on Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, north of Mount Kenya, this is not surprising!
Having spent nine years in the British Army Mike arrived Kenya 14 years ago and has been exploring Kenya’s least accessible areas ever since.
With a diverse background in Kenya including wildlife anti poaching, general security, game capture and translocation, and community development coupled with flying both fixed wing and rotary aircraft Mike is in an ideal position to give ‘Epic Quest’ clients a fascinating insight into active wildlife conservation and development as well as exploring remote beautiful locations.
