Erik Leideker is Operations Manager for Sun Valley Heli-Ski and also an IFMGA Mountain Guide.  He grew up in Ketchum and began guiding with SVHS in 1999. After graduating from the local Community School, Erik traveled east to Dartmouth College, but was eventually drawn back to the Sun Valley area, which is a premier venue for mountain sports. He got his start guiding with Stanley, Idaho-based Sawtooth Mountain Guides in 1993 and is now co-owner of the company and director of summer operations.  Erik is equally at home on rock, in the alpine, or on skis, and has guided extensively in Idaho and throughout North and South America.  He lives in Hailey, Idaho with his wife, Gretchen and two daughters, Sascha and Svea.
