Manda Bay Lodge
OVERVIEW
Manda Bay is an exclusive, private lodge on Manda Island in Northern Kenya’s Lamu archipelago. Sixteen spacious cottages line the beach overlooking the calm waters of Manda Bay in the Indian Ocean. Manda Bay is on a secluded peninsula of the island where guests enjoy total privacy and tranquility. The food at Manda embraces all the rich flavors not only of the sea but also of Swahili and European cultures. Local fishermen and Manda Bay’s own fishing boats deliver the freshest seafood throughout the day. The neighboring island of Lamu is a 20-minute boat-drive and its ancient town, now a world heritage site, is a popular place to visit. Surrounded by magnificent coral gardens, empty beaches and indigenous woodland, Manda Bay provides a completely unique mix of on land and in water wildlife exploration in one.
